This entry for the Nation Beat music video competition was done quite hastily and completed within a 5 day period. You'll notice that the 3D models are highly simplified, some of the lip movements are out of "sync" and the animation is unrefined. However in its integrity, this piece works quite well. 3D character animation, when handled by one person is tedious and at times one has to compromise on some aspects of modeling, rigging and texture mapping to meet tight deadlines and budgets.
This space showcases a selection of "moving image" and other trivia done over the years. Some, commissioned work and others mere experiments. Where possible i'll share the workflow & process - Reetesh Motah
